This isn't a new dream. In 2012, I launched ChicRebellion.tv — a streaming platform for Black women — long before the world was ready. That vision didn't go away. It remained in my heart. And it waited for the technology, the audience, and the moment to catch up. They have. WatchAnnaBelle is the manifestation of that vision.
WatchAnnaBelle is romance with agency. Soft life with boundaries. Lover girl energy — grounded, grown, and centered. Yes, we feature micro-dramas. But this is a space where Black women see themselves in premium, short-form storytelling that respects their time, their intelligence, and their desires. Scripts are crafted with you in mind. Stories are told with you at the center.
I'm a 25-plus-year veteran of women's media — Essence, People, Martha Stewart Living — a HarperCollins author, and host of the Support is Sexy podcast (1M+ downloads). I've written scripts that have won placements at the Essence Film Festival, and landed me a shopping agreement with Tyler Perry Studios.
But this? This — WatchAnnaBelle — is what I'm most proud of creatively. Because this is for you.
